The KId's center

Our free after school program is offered Monday through Friday from 2:45pm to 4:45pm. Kids get homework help, play group games, make new friends, eat snacks, and learn about Jesus.

*After school program schedule follows the Rutherford County Academic Calendar.

We are always in need of healthy snacks for the children in our program.

Wherry work days

Wherry Work Days happen on the 4th Saturday of every month (except November and December) from 8AM to noon. People from different ministries, groups and backgrounds join together to help better the community through various projects. These work days are open to everyone and all skill levels are welcome. These service days are a great time to serve with your family, small group, or co-workers.

ENGLISH CLASS

Are you interested in improving your English, practicing your conversation skills, and working on reading and writing? Come check out our English classes! All materials are provided and classes are free.

We offer both Beginner and Intermediate/Advanced classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

  • Morning: Tuesday & Thursday 9 am - 11 am

  • Evening: Tuesdays only 7 pm - 8:30 pm

If you or someone you know wants to join our ESL Classes, registration period is each August. Classes begin the beginning of September and run though May.

Stop by The Learning Center in August to sign up for classes.

  • To register for the Morning Classes, come to The Learning Center on Tuesday & Thursday at 9am in August.

  • To register for the Evening Class, come to The Learning Center on Tuesdays at 6pm in August.

Classes meet at the Learning Center located at 113 Stonewall Drive, Smyrna, TN 37167.

Clothing Closet

We accept and distribute gently used clothing donations throughout the community.

We provide a place for our community to come and receive clothing for every season. Our volunteers help pick up clothing donations, help sort, fold, and hang clothes, as well as serve the incoming clients.

Open: Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 9 am - noon.

Our closet is located at 121 Claeborne Drive, Unit A, Smyrna, TN 37167.

SENIOR ADULT OUTREACH

Every other month we gather with the senior adults in our community and have a time of fellowship and fun. Dates for each event are listed on the volunteer form under the Senior Adult section.
